Another New Year

It has been awhile since i have posted, been busy,and recovering from a bad back,
 But now i am doing better, and the animals i am helping are doing great too. Poor buttons,yes she is 13 years old, but recovering from bronchitis. She is doing better as well, thankfully.

But ,now, caring for 2 new doggies mini dox's named, Blackie and Brownie, yes they are very cute and loveable.  they came from Arkansas, by my friend who is a transporter.  she heard that their owners were shot to death, and the other dogs found homes, but poor blackie and brownie, were taken to a kill shelter and had an appointment to be euthanized. thankfully my friend went to the kill shelter and took them, and tried to find a rescue to take them, and did find one, When i first saw this story, i just at the chance to take these doggies, without thinking about it.  But she told me she had a rescue for them.  But, later, she contacted me and asked if i still wanted these doxi's, of course i said yes, and 2 days later on friday 3:00am they were given to me, but i could see they really wanted the little doggy weiners, (a bit of humor here), so since they had to make time to move to a better place, i told them that i could foster the little ones until they are ready to take them, so a deal was made.  since i do run a sanctuary/rescue for dogs and cats that are elderly or terminally ill.  she donated some funds for the care of blackie and brownie, first thing i did was call the vet, and blackie got an allergy shot, nails clipped and eyes checked, she just has dry eyes, and needs ointment in her eyes twice a day.
 
 Then Brownie, got neutered and nails clipped, he takes an antibiodic/pain med 2 times a day until feb. 7th, to help against any infection.  so these guys are with me until feb 25th, they are sweeties and they so love each other, i call them love birds, So below are pictures of the recent rescues,they will soon go to their furever home in 3 weeks.  Brown Dog is Brownie, and the black one is Blackie.

  The other dogs clovie girl, buttons, and ollie also had nails clipped too, with buttons needing her lungs heard and needing an antibiodic for her cough.
