ANIMAL TESTING

Why ,oh, why, do so many companies have labs where they tesy chemicals on animals?  if the chemical is bad for them it will be bad for us, chemicals are chemicals.   In this day and age, why is there even a need for testing on animals, they dont give their permission for it, they have no voice, unless we make a voice for them, there are so many put in cages and treated so terrible, all in the name of progress??????????????????
  testing on animals is NOT PROGRESS, IT IS ANOTHER FORM OF CRUELTY AND ABUSE!!!!!!!
 real scientists know that animals are not needed for testing, they can use all the new tecnologies that is around.  their are so much on the internet about testing on animals is not even real science,
